   Giorgio Armani:

   Pros: For skin-care products there are none.
   The makeup is a very different story: outstanding foundations,
   superb powder textures, a brilliant shimmer fluid, and a neutral palette
   make this line a must-see, and several products have a gorgeous finish.

   Cons: Expensive; lack of options to address most consumers’ skin-care needs;
   foundations with sunscreen or that do not provide sufficient UVA protection;
   the cream blush; mascaras that aren’t as impressive as they should be.

   Giorgio Armani Designer Shaping Cream Foundation SPF 20 : ($65.00)
   It's higher-than-usual sunscreen is in-part titanium dioxide,
   and this is one of the creamiest yet lightweight foundations for dry
   to very dry skin you’re likely to find. It's emollient texture feels decadently silky
   and blends very well, though it takes time to set to a soft satin finish.
   Dry skin is left with a radiant glow, while coverage stays in the medium range.
   The range of 12 shades is, by and large, quite neutral. The only shades
   to be careful with are the slightly peach #6 and slightly orange #9.5.
   Shade #2 is gorgeous for fair skin, and those with light to just-medium skin
   have several excellent choices. The silk fibers and oil in this foundation
   do not contour skin, so don’t mistake this for a face-lift in a jar
   (though that’s likely how the lofty price was determined).
   It is a rich yet not heavy-feeling cream foundation with a superb blend
   of ingredients to replenish dry skin while leaving a soft glow.

   Giorgio Armani Mineral Soothing Lotion: ($80.00/5 ounces)
   A soothing toner that immediately leaves skin feeling luxuriously comfortable.
   The ultra-light hydrating texture moisturizes and softens.
   Contains hyaluronic acid for an intense hydrating effect.
   Formulated with rose flower and peony root - extracts known for their
   calming properties - to soothe even the most sensitive skin.

   Giorgio Armani Maestro Eye Shadow: ($26.00) is said to be
   an irresistible invitation to play with color, but I think many women
   would find the price of these single pressed powder eyeshadows easy to resist.
   Still, these do have an extremely silky texture that blends beautifully.
   The collection of shades tends to emphasize sparkling shine, despite claims
   that there are matte and satin shades, too. Oddly, almost all of them apply
   more sheer than they look, including the darker browns and grays.
   Also, the tester unit is not labeled in a way that makes it easy to tell
   which finish you’re viewing.
